Wise Up d.o.o. was founded in 2020 by Lisa and Luka Vončina with the vision of making formal and informal knowledge more accessible to young people in Slovenia.

 

Lisa's idea (in August 2019, just days before her 28th birthday) was: "How could we offer all school content (formal) and the life skills young people seek (informal) on a single platform, accessible to them anytime at the cost of one hour of tutoring per month?"

After several days of brainstorming and research, the concept for "Razturi na maturi" became clear: to provide high-quality digital content for students in one place while also offering informal education on social media to help them indirectly tackle a variety of challenges.

 

In just over five years, with a team of teachers, programmers, and invaluable contributors, we have helped thousands of students across Slovenia improve their grades and understanding of school material using the "Razturi na maturi" digital tool. All content is aligned with curricula and graduation requirements, making this platform an ideal tool for every Slovenian high school student to complement the education they receive from teachers in school.

Our mission is to empower young people by providing credible content tailored to their needs, helping them achieve better grades and success on graduation exams. Additionally, through diverse resources, we promote critical thinking and build essential life skills—knowledge that will equip them to become competent individuals across different fields and contribute to a thriving society.

Over the years, we have received several prestigious awards, affirming that we are on the right path. However, even more than awards, we value the praise and trust from students (and their parents), which continues to inspire us and fuel our dedication to improvement and growth.​
